Telephone consent and how we contact you
Two different situations, with two different rules. This page explains both plainly rather than in a block of defensive boilerplate.
Situation one
When you call us
If you dial a number shown on this site, you have initiated the contact. No consent is required for that call and you are not agreeing to anything by placing it. You can end the call at any time.
Your call is connected to a licensed insurance agent in our partner network. Calls may be recorded or monitored by that agent for quality and training — if they are, you will be told at the start of the call, and you may object or end the call.
Placing a call to us does not give us or anyone else permission to call you back later with marketing. That requires the separate written consent described below.
Situation two
When you give us your number on a form
Forms on this site ask separately whether you want to be contacted. The checkbox is never pre-ticked — you tick it yourself or it stays unticked.
On the contact form, agreeing is optional. Leave the box unticked and we will still read what you sent and reply by email.
On the callback and quote forms, the only thing we deliver is a phone call from a licensed agent — so the box has to be ticked before the form will send. If you would rather not be phoned, call us yourself on the number at the top of this page, or use the contact form instead.
If you do tick it, this is what you are agreeing to:
By submitting this form, you agree that InsuranceXR and the licensed insurance agents and companies in our partner network may contact you at the phone number and email address you provided — including by autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages — about insurance products. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. You may revoke it at any time, by any reasonable means — including by telling the caller to stop, by replying STOP to a text message, or by using our opt-out form.
Who
Who may contact you
If you give consent, you may be contacted by InsuranceXR and by the licensed insurance agents, agencies, and insurance companies participating in our partner network at the time of your inquiry. Those partners change over time as agents join and leave.
To request the current list of partners who may contact you, or the list that applied on the date you submitted a form, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Opting out
How to stop contact
You can stop contact at any time, and you do not need a reason:
- Use our opt-out form. The fastest route. It goes onto our internal suppression list immediately.
- Tell the caller. Ask any caller to place you on their do-not-call list. They are legally required to honor it.
- Reply STOP. To any text message.
- Email us. [email protected] with the number to remove.
Please allow up to 10 business days for a request to reach every partner we have previously connected you with. You may also register on the National Do Not Call Registry, which applies to telemarketers generally.
This page describes our practices and is not legal advice. Your rights under the TCPA and under your own state’s telemarketing laws may be broader than what is described here.
